A wagon might not be the first body style on a tuner’s to-do list, but Wald International saw potential in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class wagon. The tuner has named its creation the Black Bison, a unique moniker to match the unique looks.
We’ll let you decide whether the tuner’s mods improve the existing car’s styling. Wald’s site doesn’t provide much detail on the Mercedes E-Class wagon changes and, although the wagon appears to be an E63 AMG at first glance, a close inspection of the brake calipers reveal “Mercedes-Benz” and not “AMG,” suggesting it’s a garden-variety Benz wagon.
One of the most notable mods is what Wald calls the D.T.M sports muffler. The exhaust tips closely resemble the ones on the Lexus IS F -- an interesting choice the folks in Affalterbach wouldn’t likely make. Two wheel styles are available, including an all-silver multi-spoke design, while the second has a two-tone black and silver look.
The profile also reveals a body kit that makes generous use of vents (on the lower rear bumper, the rocker panel, front fender, and lower front bumper), which we assume help keep the Black Bison cool while attempting to outrun real E63 wagons. Lastly, front modifications include an aggressively styled front bumper with two bars of LED daytime running lights.
