Honda Trail 70 mini bikes and a Corvette-powered muscle truck are the stars of the latest episode of Roadkill, as David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan head down to the Barona drag strip in San Diego to race them.
After surprising Finnegan with the retro trail bikes, the two ride them back to the Hot Rod headquarters, but not before Frieburger almost loses his bike during a stop at the gas station. After arriving at the garage, they two get to work on their Muscle Truck: a 1974 Chevy shortbed beater, powered by an all-aluminum Corvette LS6. After lots of work, they get the truck to run, but not without a couple of tune-up stops before arriving in San Diego. There, Freiburger tries hard to run a 7:50 time so he can get kicked out for going too fast without a rollbar, giving them an excuse to race the mini bikes. After a few runs, Freiburger still hasn't reached his goal, so it's time to break out the nitrous. Will they eventually get it to hit 7:50 at the dragstrip?
