After a Nevada father and son duo found the first of three hidden 2012 Dodge Journeys on the West Coast last week, many couldn’t wait for the Midwest search to begin. Once the commercial aired last Friday, it took an Oklahoma family just six hours to find the second of three Dodge Journeys hidden across the nation.
The three Dodge Journeys are being given away as the centerpiece of Dodge’s “Search Engine for the Real World” Campaign. The second part of the Journey journey began last Friday with five clues to help viewers try and track down the Dodge crossover. The 200-mile clue consisted of a flour factory and a Route 66 sign. The 150-mile clue made mention of the world’s largest fried onion hamburger, while the 100-mile clue showed off the distinctive Red Rock Cabins. The 50-mile clue gave viewers a gratuitous shot of a map of Oklahoma. The fifth and final 25-mile clue video showed coffee cups from Rebecca’s House of Coffee in the Journey’s heated cup holders.
According to Dodge, it took Brad, Melissa, and Taylor Niedy almost six hours to find their brand new Journey after the commercial first aired. For those looking to get their mitts on the third and final Journey, the East Coast campaign kicks off this Friday, September 24.
