Toyota Teases Hybrid Concept Before 2010 Detroit Auto Show

It’s a Prius! It’s an iQ! It’s…well, we’re not exactly sure. All Toyota’s saying at this point is it’s a conceptual “dedicated hybrid” model, and that it will make its world debut at the 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

The first teaser image released looks remarkably like the European iQ subcompact, but a closer look reveals a distinct B-pillar and a full-size door behind it -- features the diminutive iQ lacks.

We’re betting it’s a compact hybrid five-door -- which almost parlays into the whole “Prius Lite” and “Prius Crossover” rumors we heard earlier this year. Regardless, expect the conceptual Toyota to be lean, funky, and green (quite literally, it seems).
