Surprise! Mansory’s Take on the BMW 7 Series Isn’t Too Extreme

When Mansory comes a-knockin' at our e-mail inbox, we just have to look. And the latest effort this go-around is for the current-generation BMW 7 Series.

With new looks said to deliver “vibrant elegance,” Mansory is offering an all-new body kit for both the standard- and long-wheelbase 7 Series. The front fascia has a bit of the X5 M in its appearance, mostly due to the large cutouts implanted beneath each headlight. The bumper cover is supposed to fit in with the LED daytime running lights and the front grille has also changed. The rear end is altered ever so slightly with a subtle spoiler and lower rear lip.

If you like big wheels, Mansory has the 22-inch multi-spokers to fit the bill. They are one-piece parts, 10-inches wide, and fit tires sized 265/35 up front and 295/30 out back.

Mansory’s performance modifications should help get those 22-inch wheels moving. Available for the 750i and 760 Li, performance parts include a sports air filter, sports exhaust system, and a tuned ECU. The top-end 760 Li, powered by the turbocharged V-12, now develops 630 horsepower and 679 pound-feet of torque while pounding out the 0-60-mph sprint in 4.2 seconds.

The 750i with the turbocharged V-8 is supposedly good for 483 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque.

The interior has been left to the buyer’s imagination. There’s a new steering wheel design but Mansory otherwise believes in making the interior changes a completely custom process. Whether you like leather, ultra-suede, carbon, or burl wood at your touch, the Swiss tuner can do it all.
