Rudolph Who? 805-hp Hennessey Jeep Grand Cherokee HPE800 Perfect for Santa's Sleigh

Santa’s new sleigh has arrived in the form of the 805-hp all-wheel drive Hennessey Jeep Grand Cherokee HPE800 – a beast of an SUV that would certainly make Rudolph's red nose green with envy.

Big power calls for big modifications and the Hennessey Jeep Grand Cherokee HPE800 doesn’t disappoint. Hennessey starts with the Grand Cherokee SRT8 and its ‘pedestrian’ 465-hp 6.4-liter V-8, and then bores the engine out to displace 7.0-liters. The Texas tuners didn’t stop there; they then bolted on two turbochargers to the V-8, upping power to 805-hp, and cranking torque up from 465 lb-ft to a ridiculous 823 lb-ft. Hennessey says that the added power is good for a 3.1 second 0-60 mph run and a quarter mile time of 10.9 seconds at 130 mph.

Hennessey’s performance upgrades don’t stop with the extra displacement and new turbochargers; it also upgraded the five-speed automatic transmission and its torque converter to handle the extra power. In order to slow the sleigh down, the SRT8's Brembo brakes have been enlarged to 15.1-inch cross-drilled rotors front and rear, with 6-piston calipers up front, and 4-piston calipers out back.

To ensure Santa looks good delivering his presents, Hennessey slightly lowered the Grand Cherokee and fit it with black Hennessey-designed 20-inch wheels. The Grand Cherokee HPE800 also gets a carbon fiber front splitter to complete the look.

Inside, Hennessey coats the Grand Cherokee with custom leather and Alcantara upholstery, and slaps a serial numbered dash plate on. Why the dash plate? Because Hennessey says it will only produce 24 of the $235,000 super SUVs. You’d better hope you’re not on Santa’s naughty list.

this would certainly give the Juke/GT-R amalagation a run for its money. a regular SRT-8 cherokee isnt for the road, so i wouldn't see the need to take this beast off the beaten path either, but i bet it would be fun at stoplights. i'd probably get arrested before the break-in miles were completed

Really nice..but i wouldn't dream or taken it off road..I know some pot holes in the highways that would take them low pro rims out.... Again Really nice but not for the bush..
