Harley-Davidson motorcycles and Ford trucks have gone together for more than a decade thanks to the Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson edition. According to a report by Automotive News, though, 2012 was the last model year for the F-150 Harley-Davidson which did not return for 2013.

The Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson was introduced in 1999 on the F-150 Supercab and moved to the Supercrew in 2001. Starting in 2002, Ford offered the Harley-Davidson F-150 with the supercharged 5.4-liter V-8 from the SVT Lightning until the F-150 was redesigned for 2004. From 2004 to 2012, the Harley-Davidson edition was basically an appearance package, with Harley-Davidson badging, special wheels, and a side graphic.

AN quotes Ford’s truck marketing manager Doug Scott as saying that Harley-Davidson models usually made up only one to two percent of all F-150s sold.

“We don’t have plans for one at the moment,” Scott told AN. “We’ve got 10 models including a brand-new Limited Model, which was new for 2013. We feel like we’ve got the market really well covered.”

We were not able to reach Ford for comment at time of publication.

The 2013 Ford F-150 starts at $23,950 for the base XL model. Ford offers numerous trim levels, powertrains, bed lengths, and cab configurations on the F-150. Special models for 2013 include the luxurious and rugged King Ranch, the off-road ready SVT Raptor, and the aforementioned top-of-the-line Limited.

UPDATE: Ford has confirmed that the Harley-Davidson edition was not renewed for 2013, and that the company does not plan to introduce another Harley-Davidson model in the near future.
