Refreshed Porsche Panamera Spied Testing

With a complete redesign of the Porsche Panamera still a few years away, the automaker is updating the model’s front and rear styling. A camouflaged example of the refreshed Panamera has been spotted testing in the snow.

Up front, the Panamera’s revised headlights and LED running lights hide behind the black camouflage, while the front lighting and fascia appear to be inspired from the Panamera Sport Turismo shooting brake concept shown at the Paris auto show. The hood retains its power bulge. Currently, the U.S.-spec Porsche Panamera offers everything from a 300-hp V-6 to a 550-hp turbocharged V-8 plus a six-cylinder hybrid model.

Around back, the Panamera’s restyled taillights have different graphics that include a red LED ring that surrounds the amber LED turn signals in the center. Indents in the sheetmetal below the taillights are new, as well. While Porsche hasn’t confirmed the Panamera Sport Turismo for production, future Panameras may borrow some styling details from the concept. In 2012, the Panamera was the third-most-popular Porsche in the U.S., behind the Cayenne and redesigned 911.
