Porsche is recalling high-performance 911 models for wear on the center-locking wheel and hub assembly. Chrysler is recalling 12 different models over a missing or improperly installed part in the steering column.

2010-2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS, GT3, GT3 RS, Turbo, Turbo S

The Problem: High-performance Porsche 911s with center-locking wheel and hub assemblies may wear prematurely, and loosen, increasing the chance of a crash. The issue is on vehicles manufactured from May 18, 2009 through September 17, 2010.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the locking hubs with a new, improved design free of charge. Porsche has not released a timetable yet, but owners can contact the manufacturer at 1-800-767-7243

Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 1702 2010-2011 Porsche 911 GT2, GT2 RS, GT3, GT3 RS, Turbo, and Turbo S models. Porsche estimates 100% of the affected vehicles may actually contain the defect.

2011 Chrysler 200, Town & Country, Dodge Avenger, Caliber Grand Caravan, Journey, Jeep Compass, Patriot, Liberty, Wrangler
