2013 Ram 1500
The Problem: Corroded valves may prevent hot coolant from entering the heater core. If so, the windshield defogging feature wouldn't work, reducing visibility through the windshield.
The Fix: Chrysler will inspect the valves and replace any that are corroded. In addition, the company will reprogram the climate-control system to prevent further problems.
Number Of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 532 2013 Ram 1500 trucks, of which 498 were sold in the U.S. and 34 in Canada.
2008-2012 Jeep Wrangler (Right-hand drive)
The Problem: On right-hand-drive models of the Jeep Wrangler, which are sold in the U.S. primarily for rural mail delivery, dust can easily build up on the electric clockspring connectors used to operate the driver's airbag. If too much dust accumulates, the airbag will fail.
The Fix: Chrysler will install special dust shields to protect the right-hand-drive Jeep Wrangler SUVs. They are more likely to encounter dust because they are so frequently driven on rural dirt roads.
Number Of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 5330 Jeep Wrangler SUVs built with right-hand drive.
