We've seen many custom treatments on the Range Rover Evoque, from the subtle to the outlandish. Kahn Design's RS250 Vesuvius Edition is clearly aimed at those customers that wish to make a statement with their vehicles. Named after the notorious volcano in southern Italy that destroyed two cities in ancient times, and last erupted in 1944, the showcase color for this model brings to mind the hue of liquid-hot magma. Dr. Evil would approve.
Matte black figures prominently as the contrast color and texture on Kahn's latest rendition of the Evoque, applied to the grille, side vents, and center section of the front bumper. The rest of the car, including the roof, hood stripe, grille accent vents, brake calipers, are finished in copper or Vesuvius Orange. The eye-catching package rolls on 22-inch wheels.
The interior of the Vesuvius Edition Evoque also gets the two-tone treatment as well, with the seats finished in black leather and alcantara with Vesuvius Orange detail, contrast stitching on the transmission tunnel, dashboard and armrests, with the entire interior getting the diamond-quilted treatment. The custom gauges receive a custom color treatment of…you guessed it, Vesuvius Orange.
But if this particular color palette on the Evoque isn't to your liking, the company will design a custom vehicle with an interior 'akin to your living room,' for a price, of course.
The price of this particular specimen is the equivalent of $89,598 U.S., or about $6000 more than the starting price of the full-size 2013 Range Rover in the U.S.
