Pagani Huayra's Exorbitant Options Pricing Revealed

Pagani Huayra Carbon Edition front

An order sheet for the Pagani Huayra posted online reveals just how much the ultra-exclusive supercar costs. Not only is the car's base price exorbitant, but its costly options list makes even Porsche price lists look reasonable.

To start, the order guide posted by The Supercar Kids shows that a Pagani Huayra costs €1.06 million (about $1.44 million). That price affords shoppers a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V-12 engine with 730 hp, carbon-titanium construction, active aerodynamics, and a gorgeous interior replete with real leather and aluminum controls. While touchscreen navigation, Bluetooth, and carbon-ceramic brakes are standard, the other available options require seriously deep pockets.

Adding a bespoke seven-piece luggage set to your Pagani Huayra costs a cool $20,425, parking sensors require $2000, and a backup camera costs $6700. Opting for the wheels from the Pagani Zonda R will set you back $8000, while painting the standard wheels gold, black, or liquid silver is $4800. Picking a custom color for the car's brake calipers is $5100.

The most extreme options concern the looks of the Pagani Huayra. Choosing a two-tone scheme with a paint color and some exposed carbon fiber is a whopping $81,300 -- more than the cost of, say, a Porsche Boxster -- while buyers who want fully exposed carbon-fiber bodywork will pay $153,700 for the privilege. Having all the interior brightwork anodized in black titanium is $10,900, and applying the same treatment to the exterior chrome requires $8000. And "premium" leather upholstery adds another $10,800 to the tab.

In other words, the Pagani Huayra is far from cheap. Though the prices listed for these options and upgrades seem extortionate, we doubt anybody who can drop $1.44 million on a supercar will sweat paying another Toyota Camry's-worth of extras onto the bill. Start buying your lottery tickets now.
