Nissan Bumps Price Up for 2012 Murano, CrossCabriolet Drops $1,840

Pricing information on the 2012 Nissan Murano reveals an $800 price increase over last year’s model, but the one-of-a-kind Murano CrossCabriolet stoops down $1,840 less compared to the 2011 model.

The base  Murano S with front-wheel drive is priced from $30,100, an $800 increase over the 2011 model. With all-wheel drive, the prices climbs to $31,700. The base Murano S now gets a 7-inch monochrome screen as standard, and the new Platinum package upgrades to 20-inch alloy wheels, a navigation system, and the option of Black Sapphire paint. Complete pricing on all eight trim levels are as follows:

  • Murano S FWD $30,100
  • Murano SV FWD $33,670
  • Murano SL FWD $37,210
  • Murano LE FWD $39,110
  • Murano S AWD $31,700
  • Murano SV AWD $35,270
  • Murano SL AWD $38,810
  • Murano LE AWD $40,710
All prices include an $810 destination fee.

Those that found last year’s Murano CrossCabriolet to be overpriced may be relieved to find out this year’s model got a slight price cut. The convertible CUV is based on the top-of-the-line Murano LE, with the 265-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 is standard, as is all-wheel drive. Navigation is now available as a standalone option. Only one trim level is available in the drop-top, and it starts at $45,350, compared to the 2011 model’s sticker price of $47,190.
