Nissan has announced pricing and a handful of equipment changes for the 2012 editions of the Armada SUV, Maxima sedan, and Titan pickup. All three vehicles are on sale now at Nissan dealerships.
The 2012 Nissan Titan Crew Cab starts at $30,935 (after a $975 destination charge) in two-wheel-drive S trim; the priciest Crew Cab is the $41,185 4x4 SL model. The Titan King Cab starts at $28,385 in two-wheel-drive S trim, while the costliest King Cab PRO-4X 4x4 commands $36,115. The 2012 Titan is mostly unchanged, with a 317-hp, 5.6-liter V-8 engine at its heart. A new Sport Appearance package, a $2490 option for SV models, adds 20-inch alloy wheels, a Dark Hyper Silver front grille, black step rails, fog lights, and more.
In rear-wheel-drive guise, the 2012 Armada ranges from $39,465 (including a $975 destination charge) for the SV trim, to $52,025 for the loaded Platinum model. The four-wheel-drive Armada SV commands $45,065, with prices climbing to $54,925 for the Platinum trim. There are a few equipment upgrades for the new model year: the SV trim Driver Package gains a power liftgate, the SL trim gains a power liftgate and heated front seats, and the Platinum trim receives heated second-row seats.
The 2012 Nissan Maxima receives a few mild cosmetic tweaks, consisting of a restyled front grille, redesigned taillights, and new wheel designs. The instrument cluster illumination has been changed, there are new climate and audio control knobs, and there are two new exterior colors. Finally, Maxima 3.5 S models can be fitted with a new, $710 Limited Edition package, bundling smoked headlight housings with HID lights, 18-inch Dark Hyper Silver wheels, a rear spoiler, and a few other accent pieces.
Prices for the 2012 Maxima are unchanged from last year. The Maxima 3.5 S starts at $32,510 (including a $760 destination charge), while the Maxima 3.5 SV costs $35,210. Both models are equipped with a 290-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 engine, a continuously variable transmission, and front-wheel drive.
