Nissan Adds a Dash of Black to the 2013 Juke with Midnight Edition Package

The word subtle has probably never been used to describe the funky Nissan Juke, but Nissan executives marched out a new Juke design package with liberal use of the s-word. Irony aside, the Juke Midnight Edition Package brings a welcome dash of flair to the already quirky compact crossover.
The Midnight Edition package, which is available on all 2013 Nissan Juke models, unsurprisingly, is comprised of a smattering of black trim pieces to the exterior. Those trim pieces include the rear deck spoiler, the rear-view mirror caps, and new 17-inch wheels – all of which are painted in a sinister sapphire black hue.
There are no changes to the interior, which means that the transmission tunnel and center console are painted the same color as the exterior. Speaking of exterior color, the Midnight Edition package is technically an accessory group, which means it's available with any of the eight colors on the 2013 Nissan Juke. We're partial to the new-for-2013 pearl white paint with the new options package, for a full white-over-black color scheme.
If the Midnight Edition isn't quite your thing, Nissan promises a few changes to the other, less-adorned Nissan Juke models. SV models with the navigation package now gain a rear-view camera, as well as a new Rockford Fosgate sound system dubbed ecoPUNCH that is also standard on SL-model Jukes. All Jukes now have three new available colors, including pearl white, atomic gold, and brilliant silver.
The 2013 Nissan Juke – including the Midnight Edition models – will reach Nissan dealers next month. The Midnight Edition package will cost $1200; while pricing for the 2013 Juke has yet to be announced, the 2012 model started at $20,770 with destination.
