Land Rover first sold vehicles in the U.S. back in 1987, making this year the brand's 25th anniversary on our shores, while the Discovery LR4 model has been sold in America for 23 years. Another reason to celebrate: Land Rover global sales rose 15 percent last year, and U.S. sales grew 12 percent. To commemorate all these landmarks, Land Rover will launch two special edition vehicles: the 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Limited and the 2012 Land Rover LR4 HSE Luxury Edition.

Debuting this week at the New York auto show, the Sport Supercharged Limited Edition receives a host of new visual flair on the outside, include red accents and red-painted brake calipers. A combination of carbon fiber trim, contrast leather, and an 825-watt Harman Kardon sound system upgrade the interior. Land Rover will build just 500 such cars for the U.S. market, and they will all be painted either Fuji White or Santorini Black.

The LR4 HSE Luxury Limited Edition wears extra chrome trim, 20-inch "Sparkle"-finish wheels, and adaptive xenon headlights. Standard equipment inside includes upgrade touches like a center-console cooler and an 825-watt Harmon Kardon sound system.
