Mopar's New Grilles, Wheels Give 2011 Chrysler 300 More Bling

Chrysler's 300 has long been a target for customization since the original launched in 2005, and that trend doesn't seem to end with the new 2011 300. In fact, Chrysler's Mopar accessories division recently announced a number of factory-authorized and warranted aftermarket grilles and wheels for the revamped large sedan.

With eight grille inserts to choose from, selecting a grille may be a little harder than expected . Whether you prefer some bling or a more traditional look, Mopar offers one to appeal to your liking. Personally, we like the heritage-type grille, which sports an egg-crate pattern similar to that of the 1955 Chrysler 300. Regardless of your selection, each insert has been designed to install with a factory-like finish, easily install within the original grille surround, and carry a 3-year/ 36,000-mile warranty, provided they're bought in combination with the purchase of a new 300.

Chrysler also gets things rolling with six new customized wheel packages, available in 18-inch, 19-inch and 20-inch diameters. Options include two different 20-inch by 8-inch rims with either five- or ten-spoke patterns, and at least three different finishes. For those who own all-wheel-drive models, a unique 19-inch, eight-spoke cast aluminum wheel -- painted in a Satin Carbon finish -- is also available.
