NASCAR gets wet

NASCAR finally realized that rain doesn't actually melt the cars and ran a race in the wet in Canada. Plus, there wasn't an American in the top three finishing positions. What is this world coming to?

Yes, you read that correctly. Rain, Canada, and the top three finishers weren't from America. NASCAR is entering the real world and bolting on a wet weather tires instead of parking the cars when the skies open up. On top of that, they were running on a road course in Montreal.

The end result was a good race though I really wish NASCAR allowed the teams to make the choice on when to mount the rain tires instead of bringing all the cars into the pits together.

Next thing you know, they'll switch to that crazy technology called fuel injection.
