The Name is Bond: Mini Previews Clubman Bond Street Edition Ahead of Geneva

The list of London-themed Minis grows with the Clubman Bond Street Edition, which is set to debut at the upcoming 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The Bond Street edition joins the likes of the most recent Hyde Park and Green Park editions, and will go on sale in the U.S. in March.

Named after an exclusive shopping street in London, the Bond Street Clubman wears Midnight Black metallic exterior paint, with Cool Champagne contrasting accent paintwork on the rooftop, side mirror caps, C-pillars, and racing stripes on the hood. The Clubman rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels painted in black, with a ring outlining the wheel in the same champagne color. Bond Street badges on the side indicator surrounds and door sills let others know isn't a regular Clubman.

Inside, the Bond Street edition features leather sports seats and a leather-covered center stack in Carbon Black, while Deep Champagne piping, stitching, and door trim create contrast. The Chrome Line interior package is standard and adds chrome rings to dials on the instrument panel and air vents. A storage package and lighting package are also exclusive to the Bond Street edition.

For the U.S. market, the special Clubman can be had with the base 121-hp four-cylinder or the 181-hp turbocharged I-4 of the Mini Cooper S. A six-speed manual transmission comes standard, though a six-speed automatic will be available. The Bond Street Clubman goes on sale worldwide in March, with pricing to be announced closer to the official reveal.

Although the Hyde Park edition is not as new as the Bond Street, a new version will also debut in Geneva, showing off a Pepper White and Cool Champagne color combination, with black borders on the hood and side stripes. Clear turn signal lenses also make it more distinctive, while the same color scheme decorates the interior. Unlike the Bond Street, the Hyde Park package can be had in regular hatchback or Clubman body styles, with the same engines available as the Bond Street.
