McLaren's MP4-12C supercar is now being delivered to North American customers throughout the United States and Canada. To kick off the car's launch in this market, the company has released a video on YouTube showing the car being in various locations across North America.
The video starts with the MP4-12C's arrival in the port of Baltimore, being unloaded off the cargo ship Taiko. We're treated to footage of an entire convoy of the cars in various colors driving off the ship. The MP4-12C is then shown driving around iconic North American landmarks such as the Guggenheim Museum in New York, posing for some beauty shots in front of the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas, cruising down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and winding down San Francisco's notoriously twisty Lombard Street.
The video then ends somewhat anti-climatically with a listing of all 10 of McLaren's North American dealers. Hopefully future videos will feature less suspense and more action of the twin-turbocharged supercar.
