The Lamborghini Murcielago's successor doesn't have an official name yet (it'll supposedly be called the Aventador), but enthusiasts on the Web recently attained a leaked dealer ordering guide detailing specifications and available options.
The leaked guide can be seen at Teamspeed.com and shows the technical data, car configuration, and standard and optional equipment. As expected, the yet unnamed car will be designated as an LP700-4, denoting both output and drive configuration. Per Lamborghini's policy, actual photos of the supercar won't be released until it makes an official debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in March.
We've explored the LP700-4's new 6.5-liter V-12 in detail, along with its seven-speed transmission. With Haldex all-wheel drive, the carbon-fiber-laden Raging Bull weighs 3472 pounds (split 43/57%) and is capable of hitting 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds. Six-piston calipers clamp down on carbon-ceramic brake rotors up front; the rears are supported by four-pot units. On paper, the LP700-4 achieves 13.5 combined mpg.
Because this is a Lamborghini, orange and yellow paint colors will be a part of the package, alongside a few shades of black and gray and some matte finishes. Interior leather options ranges from black to brown to yellow, and include a number of two-tone patterns. Options include a transparent engine cover, heated seats, and a host of color changes for the wheels, springs, brake calipers, and interior.
