You may think it refers to a tasty sandwich with bacon, lettuce, and tomato, but Swedish supercar company Koenigsegg has applied the name "BLT" to a new customized Agera R at the behest of a customer. Apparently the letters BLT have some significance to the Chinese buyer, who customized every aspect of this Koenigsegg Agera R.
The anonymous customer took advantage of the Koenigsegg brand's customization program to tweak nearly every element of his new car. The transformation starts with a blue tint for the exposed carbon-fiber bodywork, red accent stripes, a white lip on the wheels, and a combination of blue and black upholstery for the interior.
"We are thrilled over the result and we hope the customer will like his car as much as we do," company founder Christian von Koenigsegg said in a statement.
Looks aside, the new owner will have plenty of reasons to smile when driving his new Koenigsegg. The Agera R's aluminum and carbon-fiber chassis holds a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine that can produce up to 1140 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque. That's enough for a claimed 0-62 mph time of 2.9 seconds, and more impressive still, the car can run from rest to 186 mph and back to zero in just 21.19 seconds. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to the rear wheels, and the Agera R is said to weigh just 3157 pounds.
Just like the sandwich with which it shares its name, this Koenigsegg is one appetizing package.
