Holy Porsche, Batman: NLC Creates One Angry-Looking Panamera Turbo

We ask plenty of insane and inane questions, but we never once mused what a Porsche Panamera would look like if customized by a custom motorcycle builder. Alas, Germany’s No Limit Custom (NLC) decided to answer that question regardless by crafting the Panamera Turbo GP-970 shown here. In the five years the Panamera has been on sale, we’ve seen all sorts of odd-looking body kits created for Porsche’s first production sedan, but none are quite as ungainly as what you see here. NLC claims its target was to create a “completely new and aggressive design,” and we’d argue they succeeded – at least when it comes to the front clip. A new front fascia and hood, both crafted from carbon fiber, lend the Panamera a pointed snoot apparently inspired by the Batmobile. If the gaping lower air intakes aren’t wild enough, the raised hood section provides space for both an awkward-looking NACA duct and another air scoop located near the cowl. The body revisions don’t stop there. The GP-970 also gains new carbon fiber side skirts with flared light catchers, a new rear bumper with a massive diffuser, painted taillamp trim, and an unusual aerodynamic device placed atop the rear window. Arguably, the most tasteful piece to NLC’s puzzle are the wheels – the 23-inch rims are machined in-house from solid chunks of aluminum, and sport an interesting cog-like pattern around their perimeter.  Pity they’re finished in a bright orange hue, that clashes oh-so-nicely with the GP-970’s matte grey exterior. NLC’s revisions are but skin deep – not only are there no details listed on any interior modifications,  but NLC doesn’t detail any powertrain amendments either.  We suspect the company is merely attempting to dress up the Panamera’s exterior – a notion bolstered by the fact NLC claims the GP-970’s parts are available on every Panamera variant, including the Panamera, the Panamera S, the Panamera S Hybrid, Panamera 4/4S, the Panamera GTS, the Panamera Turbo, and the Panamera Turbo S.
