At this point, we wouldn't blame Gran Turismo devotees for wondering if Gran Turismo 5 has slipped into a "development hell," but to fan the flames, Sony pushed out another batch of screenshots from the perpetually delayed GT5 -- this time focusing on the Nürburgring.
Polyphony Digital says that three variations of the Green Hell will be available in its latest racing simulator. In addition to the 12.9-mile Nordschleife, GT5 will include the Grand Prix track, along with the course used for the various 24 Hours endurance events the 'Ring hosts.
Many of these photos seem to depict the latter. We dig the details in the background, including the tents, campers, and crowds -- all of which accurately replicate what can be seen during a race weekend.
The new images once again give us hope that GT5 may actually make it into stores before the year's over. At this point, we simply hope Polyphony Digital publishes the game before our Playstation 3s become obsolete...
