Although the Saturn brand may be riding into the sunset, General Motors announced it would add 2005-2010 Saturn models to its Certified Used Vehicle program and cover them with a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty.
“This move gives peace of mind to consumers who love the Saturn brand,” said Paul Pejza, manager of GM Certified Used Vehicles. “Consumers can now purchase any 2005-2010 model, and know they have a 12-month or 12,000 mile bumper-to-bumper, manufacturer-backed warranty as well as the other benefits of owning a certified used vehicle.”
To sweeten the deal, GM is also throwing in a 100,000-mile/five-year fully transferable powertrain limited warranty, a free vehicle history report, 24-hour roadside assistance, a three-day/150-mile customer satisfaction guarantee and a three-month trial subscription to both OnStar and XM satellite radio.
Saturn vehicles now included in GM’s 45,000-unit strong Certified Used Vehicle fleet include the Astra compact, Aura sedan, Outlook crossover, Sky roadster, and Vue crossover. They’ll be available at any of the 3,400 Buick, GMC and Chevrolet dealers nationwide.
