French Fashion Icon Dresses-Up Aston Martin Cygnet

Aston Martin is taking its cornucopia of customization options to another level by incorporating style straight from the Parisian fashion scene. Aston Martin in collaboration with Colette, have cobbled up a limited edition luxury city car that exhibits ‘street chic.”

Aston Martin Works Tailored has specialized in personalizing and hand-crafting the automaker’s vehicles, and together with Colette, masterfully designed 14 units of a ritzy and fashion forward Cygnet, deemed the ‘Cygnet & Colette.’

Lightning Silver paint adorns the exterior, along with Colette’s unique blue styling details on a race-collection inspired front bumper, mirror caps, and diamond-turned road wheels. Moving inside, the chic interior resembles a swank Parisian apartment overlooking the famous Avenue des Champs Élysées. A bitter chocolate theme dresses up the interior, with hand trimmed, quilted blue leather cushions for the rear seats. Quilted Alcantra sun visors, seat inserts, and leather door add to the ambience.

Colette is known in the Parisian world as reinventing retail, developing an innovative store that offers an array of unique and stylish luxury items. Staying true to Colette form, the team focused on materials, color and styling for the Cygnet, even incorporating Colette’s mascot, Oscar (her chocolate brown Labrador) as inspiration for the interior.

Aston Martin hopes to reach out to new customers in highly urbanized cities with its ‘Cygnet &’ collaborations, with the Colette car being the first to debut from the exclusive line. First customer orders placed when it was first launched last month are just now arriving at European dealers. Being there are only 14 available for purchase, the Cygnet & Colette is truly one-of-kind. Prices start from €48,995, or $69,600. How’s that for a Scion iQ dressed-up in expensive clothes?
