Ford F-Series is Winner Among Top 10 Best Selling Vehicles in September

#Ford, #Ford

How many units separate the best-selling truck and best-selling car in the U.S. for the month of September? More than 20,000 units. The two vehicles in question are the Ford F-Series pickup truck (55,077 units, includes F-150 and Super Duty) and the Toyota Camry (34,252 units). The Camry, however, was the third best-seller due to the Chevy Silverado truck which took second place with 36,425 units. Indeed, Americans still have a love affair with trucks.

Falling below the Camry in the number four spot was the Honda Accord with 29,182. While more than 5000 units separate the Toyota and the Honda this time around, expect that gap to tighten up a bit thanks to the all-new Accord. The Ram truck was the fifth most popular vehicle last month with 25,973 and the Chevy Cruze compact was close behind with 25,787. The all-new 2013 Nissan Altima, which went on sale in mid-July, is in seventh place with 24,448. Rounding off the last three spots are the Ford Escape, Toyota Corolla, and Honda CR-V, with 23,148, 23,026, and 22,268 units sold respectively.
