Fiat is making headlines with its return to the United States, and the impending 500 Sport appears to be a mainstay in the lineup.
The 500's Sport model appears to share body cues with its overseas Abarth counterpart, as shown in the accompanying photos, and the MultiAir 1.4-liter inline-four is coming as planned. The 500 Sport will come equipped with special 16-inch alloy wheels, painted brake calipers, and other exterior differentiations. A SkyDome sunroof is just one of the teased options that will be up for grabs.
Two other 500 models designated Lounge and Pop are also due at launch and will come with their own unique visual and equipment touches. A 500C cabriolet is set to arrive Spring 2011.
Last month, we learned Chrysler was aiming for 200 initial Fiat dealers in key markets, which will likely sell Alfa Romeos at a later date as well.
