Cars are made of a lot of materials, like metal, glass, and plastic. While teasing its newest Frankfurt Motor Show concept car, the Concept You, Volvo decided to show us very little of those items. Instead, the Swedish automaker’s 49 second YouTube teaser focuses on some of the concept’s finer offerings, like waxed wood veneer, gray shag-pile carpet, and plastic dashboard trim pieces.
From the video, it looks like Concept You may be related to Volvo’s Concept Universe from the Shanghai Auto Show, with a wide, flat grille and thin headlamps. It also appears that Concept You will use Volvo’s previously announced Environmental Architecture, featuring new four-cylinder powertrains. Expect more details (and full photos) when the Concept You debuts next week in Frankfurt.
In the meantime, check out the video below and let us know what you think in the comments.
