Now that Porsche has been brought officially into the Volkswagen Group, the automaker has added a Porsche pavilion to the Autostadt, its museum in Wolfsburg, Germany. Motor Trend’s Jessi Lang takes viewers on location to check out the historic Porsches on display within in this Feature Flick.

Next, Motor Trend associate editor Mike Febbo heads to Barber Motorsports Park to check out the 2013 Porsche Boxtser S -- the first all-new Boxster since the original was launched in 1996. Porsche was able to make the 2013 Boxster S lighter than the smaller outgoing model through the use of aluminum, magnesium, and high-strength steel. To find out if this new Boxster S that’s fitted with Porsche’s latest electronic tech is still a driver’s car, Febbo heads to the track and then onto the street.

Once Febbo is done, Motor Trend technical director Frank Markus pits the new 2013 GMC Terrain Denali against the Kia Sorento SX at GM’s Milford Proving Grounds. GM replaced the 3.0-liter V-6 in the Terrain with a 301-hp 3.6-liter V-6 and claims that the additional 50 lb-ft of torque could make it quickest in the class. The slightly smaller three-row Kia Sorento, powered by a 276-hp 3.5-liter V-6, gets to play bogey.
