The 2012 Scion iQ is already regarded as a great car for city living thanks to its tiny dimensions, but what else can it do? Donuts, at least if the car's new ad campaign is to be believed.
The following four commercial spots feature babes, cops, bikers, and dudes who demonstrate two key features of the microcar: its 3+1 seating configuration and its tight turning radius, which comes in handy after you hone in on a prized parking spot across the street. And as the tagline used for the “Babes ‘N’ Donuts” clip states: Yes, It’s 100 percent real.
We think Scion accomplished its message, albeit in a rather messy way. And we can’t help but feel sorry for the poor Scion employee who sacrificed their now milky, greasy, and donut glaze-covered iQ for the making of these commercials.
