Feature Flick: Porsche’s 2013 Boxster is (Almost) Ready to Play

We saw this morning that the long-awaited Porsche Boxster is just about ready for its Geneva Motor Show debut in March. If you’d like to imagine what attacking a beautiful twisty road in one of the world’s most celebrated convertibles is like, look no further than this video. There’s not much to say about this 39-second video, other than the fact that it makes a pretty compelling case to put down between 50 and 70 grand for one. If you’re not convinced, Porsche includes not one but two examples of the car for your viewing pleasure, one Boxster and one Boxster S. To recap, that Boxster will be powered by a 2.7-liter flat six that makes 265 horsepower, while the Boxster S will benefit from a 3.4-liter flat six that makes 315 horsepower. That power is sent to the rear wheels, through either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. Check out the frolicking cars in the video below, and let us know what you think (of the car and the video) in the comments below. Click here for video
