What do you get when you combine the classic film The Italian Job, some modern-day Minis, and a sponsorship of the 2012 London Summer Olympics? If you're Mini's British arm, you get "The Britalian Job," a cheeky take on the classic film that was filmed around London's Olympic park.

The five-and-a-half-minute long flick features three new special-edition Mini Coopers decked out in red, white, and blue liveries for the 2012 Olympics. The premise is similar to the original movie in that our Mini-driving heroes must chase after a bad guy who has stolen some gold. Here, the criminal races through London on an LED-trimmed motorcycle, ultimately getting caught at the Olympic car after numerous e-brake turns, jumps, and tricky maneuvers by the Minis.

Mini will offer the London 2012 Edition special-edition package for U.K.-spec Cooper, Cooper D, Cooper S, and Cooper SD cars; it comes in your choice of chili red, white silver, or lightning blue exterior colors, along with white mirror caps adorned with the London 2012 logo. A unique Union Jack single offset stripe runs the length of the car, and the London 2012 logo also makes an appearance on the side vents. Also unique to the special-edition cars are grey 17-inch conical-spoke alloy wheels. Seats are covered in black leather and trimmed with red and blue stitching with white piping, the headrests have Union Jack piping, and the London 2012 logo is embroidered on the inner edge of both front seats. The dash is trimmed in piano black with London landmarks etched on the passenger side along with the car's unique number – just 2012 of these Olympic-edition cars are being sold. Pricing for the London 2012 edition cars range from £17,800 for a Cooper to £20,860 for a Cooper SD (about $27,900 to $32,700).

We won't give away what exactly was stolen, but make sure to check out the full video below to enjoy "The Britalian Job." And beneath that is also the making-of video, so we can see just how Mini pulled of all the stunts.
