After taking viewers on a tour of some of Hollywood's favorite movie roads, Justin Bell takes the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT to the racetrack to see how well it performs unrestrained.
Bell introduces the SLS AMG GT before heading down some of L.A.'s streets used in many Hollywood movies. The host visits such popular filming locations as Grand Ave., the 2nd St. Tunnel, and the 6th St. Bridge. After the guided tour, Bell heads to Willow Springs Raceway to see how it behaves on the road course.
At the track, Bell first evaluates the The Magno Alanite Gray SLS AMG GT's exterior lines and performance attributes. The host notes that the SLS AMG is the first vehicle created from the ground up by AMG. Inside, Bell describes the sports coupe's electronic nannies -- including traction control -- which he proceeds to turn off completely. With a raspy growl, the naturally aspirated 583-hp 6.2-liter V-8 impresses with torque that will get the gull-wing coupe sideways through the corners.
