Rally driver Ken Block is at it again: he and his DC Shoes team just released the fifth installment in their series of daredevil, drift-happy Gymkhana videos. This time, they take to the streets, rails, and waterways surrounding San Francisco, California.
Block had already teased Gymkhana 5 last month with a short clip that showed him and his Ford Fiesta HFHV machine on a barge in the San Francisco Bay. However, the teaser only gives away the very end of the video, when Block literally sails away doing stunts on the barge – a stunt fittingly set to Styx's "Come Sail Away.”
Before hitting the high seas, we are treated to the usual smattering of donuts, jumps, and stunts starting on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge – the most notable ones include doing figure-eights around moving cable cars and a sideways jump up a hill. Sadly, there is no tomfoolery to be had on the famous Lombard Street, but the producers managed to find another San Fran street with just as many twists for Block to drift his way up. Motocross rider Travis Pastrana also makes a cameo, although his dirt bike looks pretty out of place on the paved roads.
Check out the full Gymkhana 5 video below, as well as the previous four Gymkhana clips. And we won't blame you if you leave your heart in San Francisco; after this video, we're pretty sure we did.
