Lest you thought that the Fiat 500 wasn’t hell-bent on being the coolest small car on the market, VH1 has released a version of Fiat’s viral “Seduction” advertisement, one that features the stylings of the recently reincarnated 1990’s hit show Pop-Up Video.
The “Seduction” ad was released at the Los Angeles Auto Show along with the American market 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth, and has since gone viral, amassing 2.2 million views on YouTube. Fiat’s follow-up isn’t a new ad, rather a version that interlaces nuggets of information about the video shoot, just like the original Pop-Up Video show on VH1. As it turns out, the commercial isn’t just about turbochargers and thick-rimmed glasses; it’s about turkey basters and cappuccino, too.
