Feature Flick: F.C. Barcelona, Real Madrid Audi A1s Create Art With Skid Marks

#Audi

What do people in Spain love more than their paella and flamenco? You guessed it, soccer. And with the first game of the season between bitter rivals F.C. Barcelona and Real Madrid kicking off this weekend, the tension is heating up. To play off the rivalry, Audi has released a spot that expresses just how enduring the passion is among soccer fans. “La pasión vuelve a dejar huella” translates to “The passion continues to leave a trace,” which is literally what two Audi A1s decked out in F.C. Barcelona and Real Madrid liveries do. Similar to a soccer game, a team of coaches are seen on the sidelines directing the drivers behind the wheel, while the two Audis drift and slide in hot pursuit of one another. The camera pans out and the cat and mouse chase between the two A1s leaves a work of art behind in skid marks. The two “teams” then come together, which we’re guessing is a way of reminding those crazed soccer fans that although there is much passion behind the sport, in the end it’s all about friendly competition. Watch the video below to see the tire-tread art piece by the F.C. Barcelona and Real Madrid A1s, and don't forget to get the vuvuzelas ready before the match on Saturday.
