Feature Flick: Chevy Uses Heritage To Hawk Special Edition Camaros

When it comes to selling retro-styled muscle cars, playing up heritage is key. So it's no surprise, then, that the latest spots for the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro do just that, especially since the nameplate is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year.

The ad, which plays up all the various special-edition Camaros (i.e. Synergy, Bumblebee, Indy 500 Pace Car, Honor and Valor, 45th Anniversary Edition, etc), blends in a vintage voiceover that suggests "the Camaro story has no ending. It's just beginning."

If so, what should come next? The LSA-powered ZL1 should arrive in showrooms later this year, but what would you like to see in future Camaros? A track-tuned Z28 model? A smaller, nimbler sixth-generation car? Forced-induction six-cylinders that deliver both performance and economy? Send your wishlist to us by means of the comments section below.

would definitly buy if lS7 offered
I personally don't care about the Camaro but I could see a Boss 302 competitor with the Z28 badge. Of course, I'm sure it won't outperform the Boss.
