Hyundai is scaring the Dutch into buying its new 2012 Veloster, showing how it can help cheat death. The company’s newest ad takes a stab at the Ford Focus, in a spot that seems more like a bone-chilling horror movie than your usual car commercial.
The ad has all the criteria of an awesome scary movie: ominous music, a deserted location, a pretty girl, and a the grim reaper. But it seems some Dutch viewers couldn’t handle the chills they got, or Ford didn’t’ appreciate the message being implied. Either way, the ad ended up getting banned from Dutch television.
