The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 is better known for burning rubber than it is for baking cookies, but that didn't stop AMG engineers from getting into the holiday spirit by baking Christmas cookies under its hood.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 is a factory-built racer, much like the recently unveiled Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The SLS AMG GT3, which we had the chance to drive last year, is powered by the same monstrous 6.2-liter V-8 as the road car, which sends its power through a sequentially shifted transmission to the rear wheels.
In AMG's new Christmas commercial, its engineers develop an interesting use for the big bruiser's engine. They send the race car out on the track, constantly monitoring its temperature. The reason? Simple – they just wanted some cookies.
