We might already know what the F-Type looks like but that’s not stopping Jaguar from teasing the new roadster while it still can. Jaguar has released a few videos in the last week, giving us a sneak peek at the new roadster, and showing off how the F-Type was developed on the Nurburgring and at the Nardo Test Facility.
The first video features the new British roadster being developed and tested at the Nurburgring. Engineers in the video say Jaguar took the 2014 F-Type to the Nurburgring for the same reason it's so popular with other automakers -- it allows them to tune the suspension, brakes, and electronic stability control systems so that the car can be properly set up for maximum enjoyment on the street and track.
The second video features the Jag doing high-speed testing at Italy's famed Nardo Test Facility (where we tested the Lamborghini Aventador in our first Ignition video). Jaguar says it uses the Nardo facility to test how the F-Type handles high temperature and abuse, as well as to see how stable the F-Type performs at its maximum speed.
The last video is yet another teaser of the F-Type's sleek sheetmetal. Check back here in the next couple days for more info and photos on the 2014 Jaguar F-Type -- until then satiate yourself with the three videos below.
