Would you ever think that 2013 Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II would look out of place on the Scottish moors or the English countryside? Of course it would not. That is why this video of a Phantom racing about a British field like a rally car isn’t the least bit strange. Nope, not strange at all. The oh-so-opulent Phantom is powered by a naturally-aspirated 6.7-liter V-12 that produces 453 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque; power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. Top speed is electronically limited to 149 mph, but the 5798-lb Brit can hustle from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds. And, apparently, rip up quite a bit of sod, judging by this video. Generally, the Phantom goes about its business in the most civilized of manners; however, this driver saw to put the Roller's power to more, shall we say, enthusiastic use. The Phantom has no problem smoking its rear wheels, or swinging its tail out to create some serious grin-inducing drifting. Better yet, its suspension, which is so good at isolating passengers from the outside world, does a fine job of absorbing dips and dives on gravel roads, dirt tracks, and rutted grass. Clearly, the Rolls-Royce Phantom is unflappable; even when drifting sideways, it remains stately in its presence. Even coated in mud and grass, the Phantom looks like it's worth every penny of its $403,970 price tag. Source: YouTube
