Many carmakers including Lexus are spending a pretty penny to run ads during the Super Bowl and we’ve already had a taste of what to expect. Lexus teased its ad a few weeks ago and now the whole shebang is shown below.
As we predicted, the featured car is the new 2013 Lexus GS350, with its distinctive spindle front grille providing all the clues we needed. The full-length commercial shows the GS breaking free from its cage shortly after the narrator states that, “Change cannot be contained.” It’s short, it’s sweet, and Lexus likely paid up to $4 million for the spot, according to Bloomberg’s report of the going rate for 30-second commercial for the Super Bowl.
