Looking for the future of Bentley design? One of these four designers may hold the key to the brand’s direction in the year to come.

In partnership with the Royal College of Art, based in London, the luxury automaker instated a Bentleys of the Future program at the school. Unlike most design contests, Bentley’s program actually puts design students under the tutelage of the firm’s current designers for a few months.

Thus far, the field has been whittled to four finalists -- Bora Kim, David Seesing, Marten Wallgren, and Mikka Heikkinen -- who will further refine their designs with Raul Pires, Bentley’s head of exterior design. Pires, along with Bentley design chief Dirk van Braeckel, will ultimately select two winners, who will receive a six-month internship at the Bentley studio.
