Let’s Celebrate: Daimler Giving Employees Special Bonuses to Mark 125-Year Anniversary

Daimler's 125th anniversary of the company's first automobile patent is approaching, and employees should be excited: most will receive a special bonus of up to 1000 euros (about $1370 U.S.) to mark the occasion.
Before you start filling out an application, know that Daimler will only give the bonuses to those who have worked for the company for at least a year. The longer you've worked for Daimler, the more money you'll get in this special bonus. Last year, Daimler issued bonuses of 3150 euros (about $4320 U.S.) to German workers after a strong year, according to the Detroit News.
Carl Benz's patent for the first automobile powered by an internal-combustion engine was filed on January 28, 1886. Today, Daimler has about 270,000 employees. Take a blast from the past by viewing some of Mercedes-Benz's vehicles over the years in the gallery below.
