Among the scrum of people around the new Corvettes at NAIAS, and at the offsite reveal the night before, were Corvette Club members, who paid some $1200 (for two) to be present for the historic happening. With their matching black shirts--with cool Stingray logo on the back collar--they were easy to spot in the crowd.
We caught up with two: Teresa Hart and Mary Nist. Nist made the trek from New Jersey; Hart, who moved from California to work at the Corvette museum, came up from Bowling Green. Was it worth it? "I've never seen a car unveiled before," said Hart. "It was very exciting."
"It was something we're going to talk about for a long time," added Nist. "It's going to make a lot of our friends jealous."
