Chrysler has released sketches of four of the 20 cars modified by Mopar that will be shown at next month's Specialty Equipment Market Association show. Chrysler says its 15,300 square-foot exhibition at SEMA will host tweaked vehicles from all of its brands, including Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Fiat, and SRT.
Although neither Chrysler nor Mopar has detailed the show cars, the four sketches provide ample clues as to the types of modifications we'll see next month in Las Vegas. The first entry is a Chrysler 300 sedan with blacked-out exterior trim and large gold wheels. That's accompanied by a 2014 Fiat 500L hatchback painted white with a contrasting yellow roof and mirrors, prominent "500L" decals, and tinted headlights.
Mopar also has worked on a Ram 1500 pickup truck, apparently outfitting it for a trip to the shore with beefier off-road wheels and tires, running boards, a roof rack, and racks in the bed that hold surfboards. The final SEMA-bound car previewed today is a 2014 Jeep Cherokee which, based on the presence of a front tow hook, is likely a Trailhawk model. This particular example sports an orange tow hook, brown paint, a gray-accented front fascia, and a uniquely painted hood with an orange-striped gray cut-out.
Expect Chrysler to reveal more information on these cars, and its other 16 SEMA-bound concepts, over the coming weeks.
