Seeing one Lexus LFA is a rare sight on its own – just 62 were sold last year – but Chicago Auto Show visitors are being given quite the treat this year with not one, not two, not three, but four Lexus LFA examples on display.
All four of the supercars are owned by Chicago-area residents and the group includes one of the ultra-rare, retina-searing-yellow Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package cars. Making up the rest of the row are two red LFAs and one very slick-looking black example. The cars are numbers 184, 57, 26, and 144, respectively.
Powering all Lexus LFA models is a 4.8-liter V-10 developed in-house by Lexus. The 10-cylinder pumps out a healthy 552 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque that is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential gearbox. The body is made of spun carbon fiber, produced on a loom Toyota developed specifically for the project. Despite there being two examples dressed in red paint, Lexus offers 30 different exterior color options for those who shell out the $375,000 for their own LFA, not including any delivery charges.
