We've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Audi TT RS Coupe during the past five months since the company finally decided to bring it to the U.S. after much hemming and hawing. Strangely, though, Audi downplayed the car's big debut, dropping it on the show stand without any formal introduction or recognition.

Like the European-spec car, the U.S.-spec TT RS will be powered by a 2.5-liter I-5 that makes 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque mated to a six-speed manual transmission and Audi’s famous quattro all-wheel drive system. Audi says that the car weighs about 3200 pounds and can sprint from 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds.
