It seems that Formula 1 drivers aren’t the only people on the teams who like to drive fast. Brawn GP’s team principal, Ross Brawn, may lose his license thanks to his lead foot.
The BBC is reporting that Brawn is charged with traveling at 100 mph in a 70 mph zone on a freeway in Devon, England. Brawn received the ticket on May 30, but has been abroad preparing for races, so the court date was rescheduled to September 4.
Currently, Brawn’s Formula 1 team, Brawn GP, leads both the constructors’ championship and the drivers’ championship, with Jenson Button at the wheel.
Brawn was previously the team principal of the now-defunct Honda Formula 1 team, and was technical director at Ferrari during the reign of Michael Schumacher.
